Well, it's been a good year of discussion, but it's time for Chestnut's Hut to close down. I just want to say thank-you to all those who helped me out, particularly EVula, Neo-Ice, and all the folks from the Ambrosia boards. And thank-you to Ambrosia Software themselves, who made such an incredibly excellent series. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to listen to music on my laptop, and pretend I have an iPod.

I suspect, and hope, that the Hut is closing down because talking about a multiplayer EV or EV 4 no longer needs to be a hypothetical discussion since we have DoI. Still, I suppose someone could want to talk about EV 3D or EV the FPS or who knows what that we're not doing for DoI.
I hope you'll at least keep the first OpenEV post for historical accuracy Smile

(or move it over to the DoI board).

Chestnut's Hut has done what I wanted it to do, it has inspired people to go out and make a multiplayer game like EV, with a lot of the things we people have wanted to see in it. While the Hut's going to be shut down, it's not going to leave here, at least not for a little while. You'll still be able to browse through all these posts, as they sit in the "Dead" section of Infinity Forums.

And don't worry, I plan to stick around. I've never been to a board friendlier than this one. I'm going to keep helping with Dawn of Infinity any way I can.
