Every time a new coder comes along, they need to get up to speed with our code. Downloading the code from sourceforge and studying it is a first step, but to really understand it they also need some mentoring from the existing developers. To help new people understand our code, and to make it more transparent how we're doing things, I'm going to make this forum readable by all at this weekend's meeting. I've moved all topics with content we don't want to share yet to a new Content forum. This forum will be readable by all; Content will not. The DoI developers group will have read and write access to both forums. If anyone has objections to this change, speak up now. _________________ portfolio |

Maybe a dyoxigene of our code would also help ppl learn it faster, no? _________________ "Violence is the last resort of the incompetence", Isaac Asimov

You mean using doxygen? Feanor did that way back. Check out http://astrange.ithinksw.net/doi/doxygen/html/. Of course, it's out of date now, especially since we'll be using a lot of ioquake3 code. We need to get ioquake3 into our sourceforge svn... _________________ portfolio |
